Betofloor Aquapox 176 F

BF Aquapox 176 F is used for the impregnation and sealing of concrete surfaces, cement screed, mastic asphalt and vacuum concrete, thus improving abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and cleanliness. It is used in the interior of production and assembly halls, aircraft hangars, material, equipment depots both as Erstbeschichtung as well as for the overcoating of old, overhaul needy coating surfaces. From the pigmented seal, after the evaporation of the water, the chemical reaction of the two components to a high-quality, thermosetting plastic, which has excellent adhesion and surface strength.

BF Aquapox 176 F is relatively insensitive to residual moisture from the substrate and is therefore not adversely affected in the course of the reaction to achieve the final chemical and physical properties. The system is free from solvents in the sense of the Hazardous Substances Ordinance. For this reason, the product may e.g. processed in food processing plants, without risk of odor during the production process. Of importance is the outstanding intercoat adhesion when waiting in the course of a construction project of several weeks between the individual layers, from the function as an evaporation barrier in fresh concrete to the final protective coating.
